"I found my passion for art as a young girl but after many years of struggling to find balance between art and raising my three children, I was able to immerse myself in daily painting. Starting off in watercolor and charcoal I then went on to discover oil and soft pastel, both mediums I adore. When I’m working in one I am lost in the joy and cannot imagine picking up the other. When I’m painting in my studio or out on location I swear the world could fall down around me and I would just keep on painting.

 

My heart is in painting the moments of life that catch my breath; that make my soul come alive. Transferring that feeling onto canvas is sometimes a challenge but one I welcome with open arms. I adore how colors and movement will transform a blank canvas and evoke such emotion. I am grateful to see the world with the intensity of an artist."
