I love picture framing. Truly.

As a young girl I remember being obsessed with a large blue suitcase my mother had filled to the brim with photographs. Photographs of young grandparents, aunts and uncles I had met briefly and places we had moved from. Memories. Lots of them. I would lose myself in this suitcase for hours during evenings my mother worked her second shift. I remember thinking how sad that these memories should lay dormant in a dark box.

 

I don't recall exactly when I started framing things but my walls have been full for years. I am always surrounded by loving faces and wonderful memories.
