Anna Zumwalt

As a Zen monk and daughter of artists (her father is western artist Don Weller) she feels inspired by the Sumie (su-mi-ay) india ink medium and brush-style. As a product of the 80's Boston punk scene, she likes black.

"What I paint is raw, sensual, strong. Some paint pictures to be looked at. I paint pictures that look at you, that draw you in, that you experience."

Anna has a degree in Anthropology where she also combined studies of art and philosophy. She grew up riding horses in the Hollywood Hills. On the weekends, you will still find her upon cutting horse outside of Park City, Utah.
